How do I receive information concerning move coordination services?

 We are happy to send information concerning the services we offer. Please complete the customer form on this site and we will call you within 24 hours.

Will you help me with deciding on what I need to do before I move?

Yes, we will sit down with you and discuss the relocation process and help create a timeline and a checklist.  We will assist you with sorting through your belongings to determine those items needed in your new home. Moving items you no longer need increases your moving costs and can be a major problem  once you are in your new home.

How far in advance do I need to schedule my move?

Generally, at least four weeks is recommended if you require pre-move sorting and move coordination services. If you need only unpacking and home set-up services, two weeks is suggested.

How will I know if my furniture will fit in my new home?

We will work with you to create a scaled floor plan before you move so that you know your furniture will be appropriate for your new home.

Will you work with the moving company or will I have to be available on moving and packing days?

Our goal is to remove the stress of moving for our clients. We happily work with the moving company throughout the move and if you need recommendations for reputable moving companies, we can provide you with a list of movers we have worked with successfully in the past.

Do you offer unpacking and home set-up services?

Yes, we will unpack and set up all rooms, including hanging your pictures if requested. We want you to walk into your home and begin enjoying your new life!

What do I do with the items I did not move?

Our company can conduct and estate/moving sale or coordinate charity pick-up depending on what is required.

What about my old house; Can you sell that as well?

Yes, if your home is located in Georgia, we can list your home for sale. In other areas of the country, we can provide you with pre-screened realtors who specialize in working with seniors.

How is Lifetime Transitions compensated?

We charge an hourly rate for our move management services and will be happy to provide you with this information during our initial visit.
